As part of this commitment, we want you to be fully aware of what happens to your personal information which we have in our possession. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy sets out the manner in which we will collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage your personal information.
Collection of Personal Information
The information collected about you is retained in a client record. You provide most of this information to one of Tricycle’s agents when you complete a subscription form to become an investor in a managed futures notes program (a “Notes Investment”) for which Tricycle is the lead agent. The personal information in your client record includes your name, address, social insurance number and birth date.
We also may automatically collect general anonymous information related to your use of our Web site located at www.3-wheeler.com (the “Site”), such as the date and time you visit the Web site and the pages you visit on the website. In addition, we collect “cookie” information from your browser to identify your computer and provide us with a record of your visits to our website. The technology used to gather “cookie” information is provided by the Internet browser you use, and may be turned off by using your browser preference buttons. This statistical information helps us to understand how our Web site is used (e.g., which pages or sections are most popular and when are the peak activity times), and assists us in planning for future improvements to the site to better meet our visitor’s needs.
We also collect the personal information that you submit when providing us with comments or suggestions on our Site.
Use of Personal Information
We use your personal information for one or more of the following purposes:
• Identifying who you are;
• Establishing and administering your Notes Investment;
• Providing you with statements about your Notes Investment;
• Meeting legal and regulatory requirements;
• Responding to any of your inquiries;
• Improving our service offerings; and
• Improving our Web site.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Except as set out below, we will not sell, transfer or disclose any of your personal information to any third party without your knowledge and consent.
We may disclose certain personal information to our licensed representatives and to third-party service providers (such as International Financial Data Services (Canada) Limited) for the purpose of administering and managing your Notes Investment or for mailing services to provide you with statements and other information about your Notes Investment. Such third-party service providers are prohibited from using or disclosing your personal information for any purpose other than for the services being provided.
Tricycle may also disclose certain personal information to Canada Revenue Agency (formerly, Canada Customs and Revenue Agency) and any other government body necessary for the purposes of administering your Notes Investment and to otherwise comply with legal and regulatory requirements. We only disclose your personal information to government agencies which is reasonably necessary for you to obtain the benefits of your Notes Investment.
In addition, we must provide your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid enquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required by law. We may also disclose personal information to assist us in collecting a debt owed by you.

Sale of Business
Tricycle reserves the right to transfer any information we have about you in the event of a sale or transfer of all or a portion of its business or assets to a third-party acquirer.

We will maintain your personal information in secure data storage to safeguard it from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We will maintain the strict confidentiality of all personal information collected, and will only disclose such information to employees and contractors of Tricycle who require such information for the purposes set out above. We will only keep your personal information for as long as it remains necessary or relevant for the purposes stated above or as otherwise required by law.
